Beerakaya/Ridge gourd and Capsicum Pachadi


Ingredients:



  • Oil-2tbsp.
  • Green Mirchi-2 or 3.
  • Chopped Capsicum-1 number.
  • Ridge gourd  (don't peel it.)-1/4kg.
  • Til-1/2cup.
  • Jeera-1tsp.
  • Tamarind-Small lemon size.
  • Mustard seeds-1tsp.
  • Turmeric Powder-pinch.
  • Red chillies-3.
  • Curry Leaves-Few.
  • Salt-to taste.

Method:

  • Fry Til in a pan and keep it aside.
  • Take oil in a pan.
  • Add green mirchi,Chopped Capsicum and ridge gourd.
  • Fry it, till it becomes tender.
  • Take them in a bowl.
  • Add jeera,Til,Tamarind and salt.Then grind it.
  • Make seasoning with red chillies,mustard seeds,jeera ,curry leaves and turmeric powder.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves.
