                                                      TOMATO RICE


Ingredients:
  • Cooked Basmati rice-250gms.(You can also use leftover rice).
  • Tomatoes-1/4kg.(Make Puree).
  • Chopped Onions-1 large.
  • Ginger&Garlic paste-1tsp.
  • Green chilli paste-1tsp.
  • Garam masala-1tsp.
  • Salt-To taste.
  • Curry leaves-Few.
  • Coriander leaves-For garnishing.
Method:
  • Heat oil in pan.Add mustard seeds.Let it splutter.
  • Add curry leaves.
  • Add chopped onions,ginger,garlic paste and green chilli paste.
  • Cook till  the onions turn golden brown.
  • Add tomato puree,salt.Cook it for 10minutes.
  • Add garam masala and cook it on a low flame  for 2 minutes.
  • Turn off the stove and add cooked rice.Mix well.
  • Garnish with coriander leaves. Serve hot.
