                                             METHI BADILU

Ingredients:

  • Methi / Fenugreek leaves-2bunches.
  • Besan/Chana dal-1cup.
  • Red chilli powder-1tsp.
  • Salt-1tsp.
  • Onion-1 big size(Cut into lengthwise).
  • Coconut powder-1tsp.
  • Dhania powder-1tsp.
  • Coriander leaves-Few.
Method:
    • Wash and drain methi leaves.
    • Take a bowl  and add methi leaves,besan,salt and red chilli powder one after other.
    • Mix the ingredients to prepare dough.
    • Dough should be very soft.
    • Make small balls with that dough and keep it aside.  
    • Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds.Let it splutter.
    • Add jeera and curry leaves.
    • Add chopped onions and cook it for 2 minutes.
    • Add methi balls.Close the lid.Cook it on a low flame for 5minutes.
    • Open the lid and stir it well for 5 minutes or until it is cooked.
    • Add coconut powder and dhania powder.Mix it.
    • Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
