CHIKKUDUKAYA / BEANS CURRY
Ingredients:
- Chopped beans-250gns.
- Red chilli powder-1tbsp.
- Mustard seeds-1/2tsp.
- Salt-to taste.
- Til powder-1tsp.
- Dhania powder-1tsp.
- Oil-2tbsp.
- Turmeric powder-Pinch.
- Curry leaves-Few.
- Sugar-1tsp.
Method:
- Heat oil in a pressure cooker.Add mustard seeds,allow it to splutter.
- Add turmeric powder , curry leaves .Fry it for a minute.
- Add chopped beans/chikkudukaya,salt , sugar,til powder , dhania powder and red chilli powder.
- Add little amount of water and close the lid.
- Cook it for 1 whistle on medium flame.
- After the pressure has come down,open the lid and mix it well.
- Now the curry is ready to serve with rice or chapati.
