                                    Bottle Gourd Curry


   Ingredients:



  •   Bottle gourd-1 small size.
  •   Onions-1.
  •   Milk-1cup.
  •   Salt- As per your taste.
  •   Red chilli powder-1tsp.
  •   Green mirchi-2.
  •   Turmeric powder-Pinch.
  •   Oil-2tsp.        

    For Seasoning:

  •     Garlic flakes-2.
  •     Channa dal-1tsp.
  •     Urad dal-1tsp.
  •     Jeera-1tsp.
  •     Mustard seeds-1tsp.
  •     Dry red mirchi-2.
  •     Curry leaves-Few.                 
        
      Method:   


     1. Heat oil in a pan.Add mustard seeds , jeera.Once mustard seeds  starts spluttering,add    
         channa dal,urad dal,garlic flakes,red mirchi n curry leaves.
     2.Add chopped onions  and fry it.
     3.Add turmeric powder and Bottle gourd pieces.Then close the lid.
     4 Add little amount of water if needed.
     5.Add chopped green mirchi, red chilli powder,salt.Mix it well.
     6.Once Bottle gourd is cooked,add little amount of soda, milk.
     7.Cook it for 6-7minutes(not more than that.)
     8.Garnish with coriander leaves.
