                                                   CABBAGE  CURRY:


Ingredients:


  • Finely chopped cabbage- 1 cup.
  • Grated coconut-2tsp.
  • Mustard seeds-1/4 tsp.
  • Jeera-1/4tsp.
  • Oil-1tbsp.
  • Urad dal-1tsp.
  • Channa dal-1tsp.
  • Red chilli powder-1tsp.
  • Curry leaves-Few.
  • Coriander leaves-few.
  • Turmeric powder-pinch.
  • Chopped potatoes-1/2 cup.
  • Salt-To taste.
  • Dhania powder-1tsp.

 Method:
  • Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seeds when they crackle add jeera, turmeric, urad dal and channa dal and fry for a minute.
  • Add curry leaves.
  • Add chopped potatoes.Once it becomes tender,add chopped cabbage.Cook it for 10minutes.
  • Add little amount of water if necessary.
  • Add salt,coconut powder,dhania powder and red chilli powder.Stir well.
  • Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
  • Serve hot with plain rice or chapathi.
